PROJECT OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Pilot is to incubate promising BIPOC publishers during which we will help them develop editorial products and provide them with the technical and financial support needed to grow revenue and audience so that they can become self-sustaining, scale, and accelerate impact. Specifically, we will work with Pilot publishers to develop a bespoke business transformation plan and provide them with ongoing fundraising, business coaching with dedicated project managers and subject matter experts, sales training, audience development assistance, technology stack evaluations, and more.

Elevate Dayton is a media platform for the Dayton, Ohio community to share their own stories in their own words. They share stories about nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and minority communities who normally do not receive media coverage. Residents can also share their perspectives through written stories, videos, podcasts, photo galleries, and more.
